Welcome to this week’s CASEing the Catty. This week we are CASEing the Sale-A-Bration catalogue and I couldn’t go past the Hello Cupcake stamp set. This set is free when you spend $90 or more and is a very versatile stamp set.
I created simple watercolour backgrounds using Stampin’ Up Water colour paper, such great quality paper! I love it! I also used the subtles range to help keep my design co ordinated. The circle and square frameits helped tie it all together.
This one I created my own designer paper using the small hearts and flower stamps included in the set. This can always give a truly personal touch to your cards!
Fabulous set and I plan to do much more with this set so check in next week to see just how versatile this set can be, and its free with any purchase over $90… please head over to my shop and check out our wonderful products.
Have a wonderful day,
Much love Linda L x
This is a simple way to use old stamp sets in new ways. Sometimes we don’t need or want to go out and buy new stamps. I believe in getting the most use you possibly can from what you have on your shelves. So for me when the #simplestamping challenge came up, I looked at what I had available and created this little card. I’m so pleased with the end result and its a perfect valentines card and super cute too!
Then I realised that many of you wont have this set so I took a current set and created another simple card :
“You sure know how to make someone happy” is on the front – “my little honey bee” (could easily be put inside the card)! There you have it, a valentines card in a very untraditional way. This card has a little wink of stella over each bumble- bee and looks rather fetching as the light catches each bee. These are easy projects to try at home.
You will need:
Whisper white card
Black memento ink
Dragonfly Dreams stamp set
Wink of Stella
What makes something simple? Really its just going back to basics and in card making that means stamps on card and using the most basic of equipment, scissors, card, ink and adhesive. Its a great way to get started in a creative pursuit of card making and designing. Here are some others I’ve created using current stamp sets:
Something like this would be a fabulous starter for a friend or relative:
Calypso Coral classic stamp pad
Calypso Coral stampin blends
Make a difference stamp set
2″ circle punch
Lemon Lime Twist classic stamp pad
Lemon Lime Twist card stock
Whisper White Card stock
I love a blue and white design on anything! So here is a simple elegant card anyone can recreate. Its easy and beautiful…
I hope you enjoyed this post.
Please feel free to buy from my store , if you purchase from my store you will get a gift from myself and a catalogue sent right to your door.

I never get tired of this set, the images just continue to inspire me. The images are alway crisp and look so effortless when stamped on card. I used brusho and water colour paper to create these two cards. I also used clear embossing powder over my memento black ink, allowing to brusho right over the image.
Check out my video below:
This one was created again with memento black ink and clear embossing powder and coloured with my Stampin’ Blends. When using embossing powder over my ink I always use my Stamparatus.
I hope you enjoyed this short post. Please feel free to buy from my website shop, and when you do you will be eligible for my VIP customer specials and gifts.

My theme for this project became all about love, and loving my life…! 2019 will for me be about living a life I love, creating, painting, drawing and sharing this journey with anyone who who wants to join in the ride!
Art journaling is one of my favourite pass times and to start this project I basically just cut out some pictures and words from old magazines, this gave me my colour pallet.
With these few tools I just went with the flow…the process is what is so freeing about art journaling! We are all so busy in our daily lives and so concerned about creating a perfect life for ourselves and our families, comparing ourselves and our lives to others, it can make for a hectic and sometime disappointing life. Our art journal is all about us and is our personal diary in the form of mixed media…its a wonderful way to let go and truly connect with your inner spirit.
If you haven’t tried this art form you really should give it a go…if you are a crafter you will have more than enough materials at hand, if not, I have a list of basic starters that you can purchase from me or from any discount store.
Check back later for my starter kit details.

Stamping should be fun and certainly when you first start out should be easy! Over the next few weeks I will be posting some simple stamping ideas. Simple cards that are quick and easy but still look simply gorgeous.
All you will need is paper, glue, ink and stamps. My tip to make simple stamping look super professional is mounting onto several layers of card stock in co-ordinating colours.
For this project I used four colours, with basic whisper white
Stock card used:
Lemon Lime Twist
Inks I used were:
Lemon Lime twist
Stamp set “Beautiful Peacock” is retired but any 2 or three set stamp set will do!
Check out my video below that shows how quick and easy this project can be!
Have a wonderful day, feel free to contact me for any further information or if you would like to join my team.

I had so much fun creating these cards, my own designs and just handwritten these cards are easy for you to create also. I have used my Stampin’ Blends for the colouring and they do an amazing job. Its so easy to create depth and shading to your designs with our blends and the array of colours is excellent.
Nothing says handmade as much as these little cards, using good quality card stock and co-ordinating colours you can create exceptional, personal one of a kind creations. As an artist I really like to paint and draw so its a natural progression for me to transition to hand drawn cards. Stampin’ Up products make it easy to cut, trim, mount and colour.
I sign each card individually and these designs have now been printed and will soon be available to purchase. Originals will also be available as framed prints.
Want to make your own. Join my fb page on a Friday to learn how, as I create a new design each week with you, you can always purchase good quality card stock from my store.

Wishing you well is one of my absolutely favourite stamp sets from the current catalogue. Look at the elegance of these images. Ideal for projects no matter the season. These Distinktive stamps are simply for the heart.
I love the pink and white theme, so simple and clean and it has worked well as a christmas card, see above.
These “just a note” are a great thank you card or perfect for quick note to a friend, change the sentiment to happy birthday… and what a gorgeous birthday card!
This set of cards took no time at all, an hour including all prep time. I find it easier to pre cut once I have decided on my design then put it all together.
When making this set of cards I clear embossed the bouquet of flowers, the bow and the wreath, not only does this give shine it gives a dimensional look and a professional finish. This card set covers many occasions and is a must have for those of you on the road. The sky is the limit when you team a versatile stamp set like this (Wishing you well) with Stampin’ Up’s designer series papers.
Choose different colour combinations for a completely different look:
